What We Believe
Statement of Faith
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God. 2 Timothy 3:16, Proverbs 30:5-6
We believe that there is only one true God from everlasting to everlasting. He never changes. There is none before Him, none after Him. Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 44:6, 45:5, 45:22, 46:9
The one true God has shown us who He is in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. 1 Peter 1:2, John 1:1-14, Acts 5:3-4
Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, He lived a sinless life, He died on the cross, was buried and rose again bodily on the third day. He sits at the right hand of the Father in heaven. Colossians 2:9, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
Salvation is found in no one else. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12
Salvation is by grace, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:8-9
Repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ results in salvation. Acts 20:21
Believers in the Lord Jesus Christ are to be baptized and make disciples. Matthew 28:19-20
Jesus Christ is coming back in the sky to take believers to be with Him. The dead in Christ rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so we will be with the Lord forever. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
